ME has its own successful personnel concept covering the recruitment of competent consultants, customized training and orientation programs, and personal career planning.
Our new consulting colleagues are primarily engineers, businessmen and women. They have typically come to us from thriving industrial enterprises in which they were successfully employed in line or staff functions for several years, or from universities or comparable institutions whose work was suitable for practical application.

Those who join the firm with many years of specialized industry experience will receive training and coaching to make them well-rounded consultants, and those who join us with a broad base of general knowledge will be encouraged to develop a more specialized area of expertise. We make starting out easier for new colleagues by promoting a specially developed and structured transfer of knowledge and intensive on-the-job training.
The preferences and talents of our consultants are supported by ME's fluid, project-oriented organization in which we there are deliberately no functions, departments, or profit centers. We create an open working atmosphere at every level of management,
work in teams with management and company employees,
direct problem-solving and decision-making processes and push them forward,
lead the teams (methods, tools, specialized content),
differentiate between problem-solving and persuasion
track down barriers to change and remove them,
take personnel and technical issues into consideration, and
bring about lasting and sustainable changes in behavior.
Consultants must be able to manage projects that last for years and that sometimes involve hundreds of employees.

Our clients include publicly-listed stock corporations as well as owner-operated companies. We primarily work for client companies in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, frequently, however, with international terms of reference and task definitions. Last year, for example, we were active in 26 countries around the world from our base in Germany. We handle projects involving Southeast Asia, particularly China, in cooperation with our subsidiary in Hong Kong. We serve the British market from our own office in London. We have been operating our own company in Brazil since 2004. We frequently work together with our international cooperation partners on jobs in other countries. Two of are cooperation partners are former affiliates from the time of our membership in the Ingersoll group (prior to 1988).
